HORNACHUELOS INTERPRETATION CENTER
Hornachuelos is an archaeological enclave located in the municipality of Ribera del Fresno whose indications of habitation date from the end of the Chalcolithic period and in which between the middle of the 2nd century BC and the end of the 1st century AD. C. one of the oppida or fortified city of the Spanish Roman Beturia was located.

The interpretation center of this site built by the Ministry of Culture within the framework of the “Alba Plata” Project is located in the “José María Varas-Zúñiga” House of Culture, an 18th century palace house located on Calle San Juan Macías number 2. It houses a museum installation with different teaching and exhibition resources: backlit, audiovisual, scale model, touch screen and multimedia guide with informative content that helps visitors interpret and learn about the Hornachuelos archaeological site and its historical context.

Hours: summer: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Winter: from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
