THEATER FESTIVAL “MELÉNDEZ VALDÉS”
It is a festival created in honor of our distinguished writer, magistrate and politician Juan Meléndez Valdés and after several editions it is already consolidated in the regional scene of the performing arts. Every year it has the participation of different Extremaduran theater companies, both professional and amateur. Since 2016 it takes place in the Municipal Auditorium framed within the program of activities that the City Council presents in its "Cultural Autumn".
