COMPADRES.

The traditional "Jueves de Compadres" is a popular and ancestral festival deeply rooted in the town that is held two Thursdays before Ash Wednesday, therefore it has no fixed date, it varies depending on Easter.

The residents of the town spend a field day in the company of family and / or friends to taste traditional products, especially cold meats and pitarra wines.

At the end of the country day, straw rompers or stick figures are made with very marked sexual attributes which are called “Compadres” that honor fertility and spring. These will be burned at dusk when each group returns to the population to release the evils.
