CARNIVAL

Traditional festival that is celebrated a few days before Christian Lent. It lasts from Friday to Tuesday.

In the town, the organization of various parades in which a large part of the population participates as well as various local institutions (schools, kindergartens, ...) is traditional. The contest of comparsas and quartets is also traditional. Among the population, the following stand out: The troupes: “Las carmín” and “Los del last year” and the quartet: “Los Esos”.

Also highlight the traditional celebration of "Piñata Sunday" (usually the Sunday after the carnival festival). Event in which several comparsas from different neighboring towns participate.
